Med-Foods Arusha is a young “Sole Proprietorship Enterprise” dedicated to processing and selling of food spices products.
The enterprise was established in February 2007, and registered in 11th day of May 2009 with registration No. 191220 under “The Business Names (Registration) Ordinance (Cap 213). Currently it has 5 employees
The enterprise’s management team consists of skilled and experienced personnel who work together to produce nutritious high quality food spices, nutritious flour, maize flour and cassava flour which meet National and International Food Standards and contributes to health and nutritional value to customers, hence the business name Med-Foods, Arusha.
Nowadays, Consumption of organic food products especially spices in the country is gaining increasing popularity as indeed manifested by the diversity and volume of products sold in local shops and therefore the potential market for Med-Foods Arusha.
Currently MED FOODS enterprise has Huller and Milling Machine, Spice Milling Machine which are used for production. MED FOODS is planning to acquire modern working machines and equipments these includes garlic peeling machine, spice packaging machine, flour packaging machine, and solar driers.

Our vision is to become a leading enterprise producing nutritious high quality food products, which will contribute to health and nutritional value of customers in Arusha Region and public at large; and establish value chain and grow the business to sustainable level focused at customer satisfaction.
Mission statement:
To produce high quality food products at an optimum cost using locally available crops in order to increase the agricultural economic growth in Tanzania.
Objectives:
- To process different types of spices commercially, to ensure the business prevail in the market sustainability,
- To identify and sale Med-Foods Arusha products to as many as possible reliable wholesale, retail and individuals customers within the Arusha region and outside the region,
- To create employment to local Tanzanians, especially women who are bread winners in most of the families now days,
To encourage customers consume spices produced by the enterprise, for not only the sake of making their foods delicious but also obtain nutritious value to substitute use of artificial medical treatment. |
